The Stefan Zweig Centre
The Stefan Zweig Center is located directly above Haus St. Benedikt, at the foot of the Mönchsberg. As a long-standing partner, the Stefan Zweig Center regularly reserves rooms at Haus St. Benedikt for their guests, which we are naturally very pleased about and would like to thank them for!
The Stefan Zweig Center was founded in 2008 as an institution of the University of Salzburg. A place for literature, art and science, it offers lectures, readings, talks and academic conferences on European literary and cultural history
on European literary and cultural history, on questions of science, art and Judaism. A reference library is available for research purposes. The exhibition “Stefan Zweig and Salzburg” provides insights into the author’s time and work in Salzburg. Find out more about the center here.
